Working Hard with no fun

So I’m back at work for another few days (3 total) before one day off and work some more. I have a split RDO courtesy of my stupid self trying to organise things to do and make more $$$ for Christmas period. No wedding preparations have been organised this week with booking flights to Adelaide over Christmas the main priority. I got lucky at work this year by getting Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day all off - yes yes I know I’m blessed.
I’m working on the 24th on night shift and I’m not one to complain but this means I will not be able to fly out to Adelaide till Christmas Day as I don’t finish till 4am on the 25th. It tends to work OK with Maria also working on the 24th (during the day), but we can both fly out in the morning and make it for Christmas Lunch with her family at her uncles.
Work in the last two days has been great. I have had great shifts with both being down in the poker room. Tomorrow is a 10 hour shift but knowing I’ll be in poker makes it OK and means time should fly!!
Not much else exciting happening with nothing planned but a meeting with Theo on Thursday - maybe a business proposition on the agenda and bang out of Crown. We never know what the future holds….
