Yawn….
December 11, 2007
Fed up with live poker now. Lasted 5 minutes in the super sat yesterday, Q8ss in the small blind no good against the big blinds K4ss on an all spade flop.
Today was even worse. I had 20k chips from 3k starting stack and thought I was sure to finally beat my Bellagio super satellite curse. However from 20k the only way was backwards. There were 472 entrants creating 44 seats. I had half average chips with 60 left. The cut-off open-raised, I shoved with AQs on the button, he dwelled and called getting a little less than 2/1 and turned over A6o. Win this pot and the seat is pretty much locked up. All looked good until a sickening 6 hit the river.
Just to rub salt into the wound Mark Teltcher was on the next table with 5 left in the $5k buy-in event, after he ran sickeningly good yesterday yet again. What a joke.
I have decided to stop writing this blog as I mentioned I might before I came to Vegas. I envisage playing only online for the next few months and so won’t have anything interesting to write about, so what’s the point. Thanks everyone for following along.
