So I deposited the $20.88 back onto Stars last night and fired up two games. I lost around 200 chips on the very first hand when I had KK, raised 4xBB and fired a c-bet on an Ace high board and was raised. I got my first real break at the 50/100 level when I pushed, over what I thought was a steal, with ATo and sucked out on KK. I then did a Kenn and showed the world that rags are no longer rags in my book and used a read to show that 93o is the nuts baby!

It started to go down hill at the 200/400 level when I ended up all-in preflop with KK and the cunt flopped quad snowmen. I then gambled on the bubble with an OESD against a fish Ihad covered and thought would fold to a push but he had top pair and I was crippled. I finally pushed my remaining stack with Q3o and was called by 75o board comes 457KT and I bust in 21st and rather pissed off!

My other game got off to a good start when some retard thought I was playing the board and decided to call my river shove when he held 55. I mean WTF did he think I had? Ace high? I then managed to avoid 10 outs twice and my raise with J7s paid off! A squeeze with AK then paid off, I was going to call and fire most flops but think this was the better play. I then played another big slick hand and I loved the way I played it but must give credit to Cogsgoigne from Raise The River for giving me a different perspective on the hand. I was going to shove his flop bet but he calls there with any over pair and possibly a big ace so I tanked and called with position. He checks and I push representing AQ or QQ and he folds. Boooooooooom! My final hand I jammed with the monster 74o and ran into QQ so I busted in 7th.

So 12 MTT’s, 3 cashes and two final tables, not too shabby. I’m now only $6 down but it shows the importance of getting to the top 3-5 spots where the real money starts. Not sure if I’ll play any today because Step Pud is due back at 1600 and he loves to bash buttons! I do have a $5k freeroll on Betfair though hosted by Rake The Rake, my affiliate, and so far there are only 94 people registered so far so could be a decent payout for the final table (which currently pays) or the last two tables if another 7 register. Could this be the start of my bankroll? I’ve some decent bankroll news anyway but I’ll save that for my next entry along with my plans to build this up and where I will be playing.
