Didn’t play too much TBH. Played a bit more cash, had a go at stud with Tripz and played a 180 and my AA got busted by 53.. LOL. You probably saw it.
Anyway I did play the daily 15k and the bloggerment and did very well in both! I finished 77th in the 15k out of 3199 entrants and just lost a race at a vital time, so no bad beats! LOL
I managed to take the bloggerment down! In the past I had not been playing a big stack too well, so when i acquired one last night i really tried my best to make it count. It’s a fine line between playing a big stack well and donking it up and sucking out! I think i was the prior, but thats from my own perspective!! LOOL. I actually really enjoyed the game, but with the final table containing Amatay, cell, matty, teaulc, res, krons, weegem, Tan and hammer I knew this was gonna be a very tough game.
Some good luck later and we are down to 4. Me, matty, cell ( I think cell makes more final tables than Phil Hellmuth!!!) and crazy res!
Crazy res sucks like a dyson and eliminates cell. I then proceed to give res a horrible time. I raised from the SB into his BB virtually every hand and when he finally found a hand to make a stand with I had a pocket pair and a huge stack to make the call with. Luckily my 5’s held and I take out res, gg mate!
So i am left HU with a player i don;t really want to be in this spot with! He is one of those players, who is just as likely to shove with air as he is when holding the nuts. In fact at one point in the HU I ended up folding two pair as I was convinced i was beat, he happily told me after i had been bluffed!! LOOL. Anyways some luck later and i manage to catch him pluffing his missed draw and i take it DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!! What a great feeling! Beating players of this standard is really confidence boosting!! Thanks for the game guys!
