Christmas Clearout
December 28, 2007
I have seemed to be playing for playings sake over the last week, or so - and my results, consequently, haven’t been to good. So I decided I need to have more respect for the money I’m playing with and have cleared down my top five or so accounts. Withdrawn all my monies from them - my theory being if there isn’t as much money in my account then I won’t be as lapsadaisical (theres a word that’s stumped the spellchecker) with my playing.
I’ve also un-installed my Betfair account and re-installed through a rakeback link. Betfair is probably my favorite site, and the one I have been (until recently) been playing most of my cash games on.
So today I’ve been on Virgin Poker on the cash tables trying to build up the $3-74 I had to leave in - it would only let me withdraw in full integers, so I kept that amount in to enable me to build it into something worth withdrawing. I made that up to $14+ in an hour. I also found an email from Party Poker granting me $15 which I have run up to $60 in about 2hrs this evening on the 0.1/0.25 cash tables.
Christmas is now over for another year, and I am currently thinking of some targets and goals to set myself for the New Year - I’ll post them up when I’ve given them some more thought.
