Oh dear, I’ve just committed poker suicide, losing $400 in a 6 hour session of pot limit omaha high low at $0.50/$1 level.
I think the biggest pot I won was $80 and the largest I lost was $120. I had my usual luck at this game, big pairs being done by crappy rivered 2 pairs, straights getting turned over by river flushes etc etc, but overall I’m just crap at this game, I cant beat it, have no luck with it and no discipline to come off when either up or down, so other than enjoying playing the game, I’m stupid to continue to play it for cash, .
Fortunatley this was all money I had won previously playing No Limit Holdem. I think there is a message there, so note to self, do not play PLO H/L, stay on the Holdem games.
Thank goodness for rakeback, at least I’ll get some of it back. Will be struggling to make Silver VIP status this month on this site now though.
