PokerStars APPT announces Season 2 dates

The APPT announced today that the first stop of its second season will come September 1, 2008 at the Grand Waldo Hotel and Casino. The APPT event in Macau will feature two big events. The $3,200 main event will host up to 1,000 players and guarantee a $1.3 million prize pool. Then, the APPT will host its second High Rollers event. The $19,250 event will be open to 300 players and guarantee $1.3 million for the prize pool.
Macau will be the first of five scheduled stops on Season 2 of the APPT. The remaning events are:
Seoul, Korea -- September 26-28, 2008
Auckland, New Zealand -- October 9-12, 2008
Manila, Philippines -- TBC
Sydney, Australia -- December 2-7, 2008
As always, PokerStars will run a wide variety of satellites to give its players a chance to win their way into the events. Starting now, you can win your way into the first APPT event in the PokerStars APPT Steps tournaments. The Steps start at $7.50 or 500 FPP credits. The top two places in each step get a ticket to the next step. The top three finishers in Step 6 get packages to the APPT event in Macau.
