Poker bloggers, Falstaff and Special K, have taken to the Internet airways with the all new Gambling Tales Podcast. They already have their first installment in the can and available for listening. Huckleberry Seed is the 2009 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship winner
It’s Sunday. Today is the final installment of the 2009 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. You’ll be treated to three hours of poker beginning with the round of four. In the first two hours Sammy Farha battles Huck Seed while Vanessa Rousso takes on Bertrand Grospellier for one of the two seats at the final table.
During the third hour it will be the best of three matches for the championship trophy, the jewelry and the cash, $500,000.
It all begins at 10 AM ET on NBC TV. Check TV listings for air times in your area. This is a great show for players wanting to see inside the mind of a former WSOP Main Event Champion (1996), professional poker player Huck Seed. Watch Huck Seed overpower former law student Vanessa Rousso, as they vie for the year’s worth of bragging rights to one of poker’s most prestigious events.

Jennifer Harman, the most feared woman in the world when seated at a poker table, is holding her Third Annual Jennifer Harmon Charity Poker Tournament at the Venetian Poker Room April 17 at 5 PM. Matt Savage will be co-hosting and calling the event. Caesars Palace for the World Series of Poker Circuit April 11 – 29
Caesars Palace is setting up to host the World Series of Poker Circuit makes it annual stop in Las Vegas at the luxurious strip resort. This year tournament players will enjoy affordable buy-ins and a variety of games during the run of the WSOPC Caesars Palace meet. With buy-in’s ranging from a low of $340 up to the $5,150 for a seat in the final Championship event and satellite buy-in’s much lower provides all players an opportunity to compete.
Most events are no-limit hold’em; but, 6-Handed No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Double Stack Turbo No Limit Hold’em, Omaha 8 or Better, Heads up NL Hold’em, and a Ladies No Limit Hold’em event are also on the play list.
