Elisabeth Hasselbeck suiting up for ESPN

In an interesting twist, “View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck will trade jobs with her husband former NFL QB Tim Hasselbeck and co-host ESPN’S “NFL Live” on Tuesday January 19th.

Conversely, her husband Tim will take her co-host seat on the “View” alongside Whoopi, Joy, Sherri, and of course, Barbara Walters. Tim will be assuming the views “hot seat” on the 28th. No word on whether he’ll be wearing a blonde wig and being talked over constantly, that is yet to be determined, although with Behar it can be assumed.

Why the warping of the worlds?

“So many times we ask, ‘How did work go today?’ Undoubtedly we will be finding out the hard way as we switch jobs. The question then will be, ‘What have we gotten ourselves into?’ “ said Elisabeth.

Tim hasn’t given a public comment yet, but we’re sure he’ll be getting the old “locker room hazing” after co-hosting the estrogen filled talk show, while the ‘View’ has many male guests, they have only female co-hosts.  This may be a smart move for Executive Producer Barbara Walters in trying to lure male NFL fans to the show, at least for one hour this year.

The Hasselbecks who were college sweethearts at Boston College have been married since 2002 and now will know what it’s like to do the others job, at least for one day.
